The Dura16 is a higher-capacity stackable system, designed for larger households or homes with bigger solar PV setups. Its modular design lets it scale to meet greater daily demand and offers stronger whole-home backup potential than the Dura5.

How much does a Duracell solar battery cost?

A Duracell solar battery installation in the UK typically falls between £5,000 and £10,000 fully fitted, depending on system size, model and whether the battery is being added to a new or existing solar setup.

As a rough guide:

• Dura5 (around 5 kWh) — typically £5,000–£6,000 installed
• Dura16 / multi-module systems — typically £7,000–£10,000 installed
• Retrofit to an existing solar array — usually adds a small premium versus fitting alongside new panels

3. Installation day — our engineers fit the battery, hybrid inverter (if required) and any wiring upgrades. Most installs take 4–8 hours.

4. Commissioning & app setup — we test the system, register your Duracell warranty and walk you through the monitoring app.
